Hi, I’m Timeea. Nice to e-meet you. And thank you for stopping by.

So here’s the TL;DR version of ‘About Me’: I’m Romanian, living in Spain since 2020. I arrived in Barcelona just a few months before the pandemic started… so, yaaay, perfect timing 😅 But honestly? It wasn’t as bad as it sounds.

Actually, it was beautiful, a little chaotic, but also the start of a life I never imagined.

Before moving here, I used to travel to Barcelona for work almost every month. And every time I came, something inside me felt… lighter. More curious. I started to love the city. It was not because it’s pretty or fun. It wasn’t just because I was making international friends. It was because of how I felt in it.

More alive. More myself.

I wasn’t planning a big move, I just followed a small interior voice that was telling me to live more. To feel more. To learn more about who I am. I had no big plan. Just a hope that this would bring me closer to the life I wanted.

And here I am… 5 years later still figuring things out, but also living some small dream. I feel I’ve grown so much. I’ve made so many mistakes, cried in Spanish (and in English and in Romanian, and sometimes in silence), and found strength in places I didn’t know existed.

This blog is where I write about that. About starting over, about being an immigrant, about living in Spain, about what changes inside you when you take a risk and don’t look back.

So this is me. This is my story so far. Thanks for reading.

And if it connects with you, I hope you stick around. ❤
